1.AIIA - All India Institute of Ayurveda is organizing a webinar on November 5, 2020 partnering with Western Sydney University on the theme  named "Yoga and Ayurveda Medicine for Mental Wellness."


2.The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on November 4, 2020, successfully test-fires advanced version of the Pinaka rocket system. The rocket was flight tested from Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Odisha. As per the officials, the test met the mission objectives.

3.23rd April was chosen as the English Language Day to commemorate both the birthday and date of death of William Shakespeare.

6.Maharashtra Health Minister, Rajesh Tope on November 3, 2020, released Rs 57 crores for ASHA workers in the state. The amount disbursed is the value of the increase in the allowance offered to ASHA workers under the National Rural Health Mission.


7.Social Media Platform WhatsApp has launched an India-focused fact-checking feature to combat fake news and rumours starting with the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections. 


8.The Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal has laid the foundation stone of Indo-Israeli Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Vegetables Protected Cultivation at Khetri on the outskirts of Guwahati. The Indo-Israeli Centre of Excellence for Vegetables Protected Cultivation is estimated to be set up at an investment of Rs 10.33 Crore.
