1. India and Maldives have concurred more than four MOUs during the visit of India's Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla to the Maldives. The four MOUs were finished paperwork for collaboration in sports and youth issues; availability venture, the setting of plant and soil testing labs

Trump informed that Director of National Counterterrorism Center Christopher Miller will assume the charges of the Acting Defence Secretary immediately.



6.BioNTech, the first in the race to produce evidence of a working COVID-19 vaccine, is planning to price its vaccine below the typical market rates. It would also differentiate pricing between countries or regions.


7.The Finance Ministry has given its approval to the creation of national database for the unorganised sector. This is the first-ever decision for the creation of a national database for migrant workers. Highlights The primary aim of creating the national database is to provide a proper platform to the migrant labourers


8.The United Nations has created and launched a new Food Coalition in order to prevent a COVID-19 food crisis. The formation of the coalition was proposed by Italy. It was then led by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). 


9.Haryana Home Minister recently announced that his government is considering to make a law against forced religious conversions. The government has asked for information about such a law that is already in force into the state.



10.China has sent into space the world’s first 6G experiment satellite. The 6G satellite was among three Chinese satellites successfully launched into orbit, along with 10 commercial remote sensing satellites developed by Argentinian company Satellogic. This was the 351st rocket of China’s Long March series.



11.A model of Anti Satellite (A-SAT) Missile installed inside DRDO Bhawan was unveiled by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The installation of the A-SAT model will inspire the DRDO fraternity to take up many more such challenging missions in future.


12.Ruskin Bond, one of India’s most cherished authors was conferred Tata Literature Live! Lifetime Achievement Award for 2020. He has a substantial body of work, close to 100 books – across genres for children and adults.
