Union and its Territory (Article 1 to Article 4)

In our constitution has 448 Articles in 25 parts and 12 schedules. it is the world's largest constitution but It had 395 articles in 22 parts and 12 schedules.  Here discuss union and its territory parts which is included in Article 1 to Article 4. that means inside and outside border of our country.

ARTICLE-1

           According to ARTICLE 1(1): India, that is Bharat, shall be a union of states.
           According to ARTICLE 1(2): The states and the territories thereof shall be as specified in the first schedule.
           According to ARTICLE 1(3): The territory of India as may be compromised:
           (A) The territories of the states.
           (B) The union territories specified in the first schedule in our constitution. 
           (C)Such other territories as may be acquired.
ARTICLE-2

It deals with admission or establishment of new States. Parliament may by law admit into the Union, or establish, new States based on terms and conditions.

ARTICLE-3
It deals with the following:

                  1. Formation of new States
                  2.  Alteration of areas of States
                  3. Boundaries or names of existing States

ARTICLE-4
According to Article 4 allows for consequential changes in the Ist Schedule.
