PART-3, IMPORTANT NATIONAL PARK IN INDIA

GUGAMAL NATIONAL PARK 

Gugamal National Park has built-in 1974, this park is located in Amravati District, Maharashtra.
•It is part of Melghat Tiger Reserve.


NAWEGAON NATIONAL PARK 

• Navegaon National Park is a national park located in the Gondia district of Maharashtra.
• The name "Navegaon" comes from the word Nave + gaon (Nave means new in Marathi and Gaon means village). Established in 1975.



CAMPBELL BAY NATIONAL PARK

 Campbell Bay National Park is a national park in India, located on the island of Great Nicobar, the largest of the Nicobar Islands in Andaman and Nicobar (Union territory) of India.
" It was gazetted as a national park of India in 1992 and forms part of the Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve.


SINGALILA NATIONAL PARK 

• Singalila National Park is a national park of India located on the Singalila Ridge, in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal.

 • The park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1986 and was made an Indian national park in 1992.



BETLA NATIONALPARK

Betla National Park is a national park located in the Chota Nagpur Plateau of state of Jharkhand.

The park boasts a wide variety of wildlife. Comprising Palamau Tiger Reserve and some of Mahuadar wolf sanctuary-added to the park in 1989.
Palamau Tiger Reserve is one of the nine original tiger reserves in India. Betla was one of the first national parks in India to become a tiger reserve under Project Tiger. Under the administration of the forest departments.

Flora: consisting of sal, bamboo, medicinal plants.

 Fauna: sloth bear, panther, and wolf, jackal, etc. 

Birdlife: features hornbill, peafowl, red jungle fowl, etc


SARISKA TIGER RESERVE 

Sariska Tiger Reserve is a national park. and tiger reserve located in the Alwar district of the state of Rajasthan, India. 
The topography of the protected area comprises scrub-thorn arid forests, rocky landscapes, dry deciduous forests, rocks, grasses and hilly cliffs. This area was a hunting preserve of the Alwar state and it was declared a wildlife reserve in 1955.


SANJAY GANDHI NATIONAL PARK

 • Sanjay Gandhi National Park is near Mumbai in Maharashtra.
•It was formerly known as Borivali National Park. •Established: 1996


TADOBA NATIONAL PARK 

• Located in Chandrapur district, Maharashtra.
▪ It is Maharashtra's oldest and largest national park. Tadoba National Park, created in 1955-.



KASU BRAHMANANDA REDDY NP

 Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park also known as Chiran Fort Palace is a national park located in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, Telangana.
▪ Declared as a National park in the year 1998.



MAHAVEER HARINA VANASTHALI NP

 • Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park is a deer national park located in Hyderabad, Telangana.
•It is the largest green lung space in the city of Hyderabad. Established: 1975
